Andrew had a birthday - he turned 12
He had a party with his friends
Both sets of grandparents came down
Andrew started playing the trumpet this year. I was so impressed with how well they played for their concert. They have a great teacher.
Elks Hoop Shoot
Jared and Andrew participated.
Andrew won again making it two years in a row.
Were headed to Boulder City in January.
Dagen goes to the Mesquite Luthern Preschool on Friday's when I go to work. On Sunday they put on a Christmas program during their worship service. Dagen was so cute. He didn't know any of the songs but he stood up their and smiled and waved to us. He wasn't going to do any of it until his buddy Isaac showed up. Then he was ready to participate.
6:00pm Kyle, Andrew, Jared to go the Rec Center for some basketball7:45pm Call from Kyle - pretty sure Andrew broke his arm
8:00pm Made it to the ER - so happy Dr. Jarrod was working - he's our favorite doctor
8:15pm Checked in and Andrew swallowed his first pills ever - so glad he know's how now
8:40pm The pain pills started kicking in. Had x-rays of BOTH arms
9 -11pm Found out both arms were broken - left arm had to be reset - Jeromy, came in and set it(thanks Jeromy) - Andrew was brave and got a shot in his wrist to help with pain before they started pulling on his arm - he was splinted up and they sent us home. It was a long night, but we were sure taken care of.
The worst part about the whole night...no basketball for 6 weeks. How will he ever survive?
Jordan is in gymnastics. They had a cute christmas performance. Jordan did fabulous!!! She's my very own SUPERSTAR.

It was a beautiful winter wednesday. The sun was shining and my car was dirty. I never get a car wash, thats always Kyle's thing, but I was right by one and I thought, what the heck. By evening it started to rain. I didn't even know their was rain in the forecast. It continued to rain, and rain and rain. By the time Tuesday rolled around and it was still raining, Mesquite started to flood. I took the kids and we drove around town and we couldn't believe what was happening. Jared and I put on our work clothes and went and helped sandbag. The water was covering the streets. We did all we could and were happy that we could help out a little. Wednesday, a week after it started, it rained all day, but by the middle of the night it finally stopped. We were lucky, but their were many that weren't. It was sad to see people packing up all their things just days before Christmas. I even saw one family take their Christmas tree and put it in the back of their truck.
Christmas EveWe loaded up the family and headed to Herriman for the holidays. The whole Christensen clan was their and we had the best time. I love being with my family for the holidays.
It was fun to have Uncle David, Aunt Susan and Dre with us for Christmas eve.
Sunday night we bundle up the best we could and we went and saw the lights at Temple Square. It was a fun night. It's nice to remember the true meaning of Christmas and focus on our Savior and his life and feel the spirit as we looked at beautiful lights surrounding the temple.
