We stayed in Missoula both going and coming home. We had fun staying in a Motel and Emma enjoyed going to the swimming pool.
It took us a long time to go home. We left Missoula at 9:00am and didn't roll into Hyde Park until 5:00pm. It is suppose to be a 6 1/2 hour drive, but we made a couple of stops along the way. We stopped in Idaho Falls to gas up, eat lunch and let Butch and Emma out of the truck. Emma was a good little traveler but she was getting restless. We stopped by the Temple and picked leaves and took pictures. Emma walked Butch around the grounds and didn't like it when we put her back in the truck. We must have tuckered her out because she feel a sleep soon after we left Idaho Falls and didn't wake up until we were in Preston.
It was so nice to pull into Cache Valley. When we left a lot of the leaves were still green, but as we pulled up our street we noticed that they had all changed to a beautiful yellow and had fallen to the ground. I hate to see the warm weather go, but Fall is beautiful.
