We have had a great Saturday so far. We thought for a moment that it wasn't going to work out to well, because Emma has now learned how to open her door, and she didn't want to do much sleeping last night. So the day started really early. We decided to make the most of it, so we put on the backpack and took a hike up the mountain around 8:00am this morning. It was beautiful and HOT. We headed home, put on our swimming suits and went to the pool.

This was the first time that we have taken Emma swimming. The neat thing is that every Saturday the pool is free for those families that have children with disabilities. So we took full advantage of our daughters hearing loss and enjoyed a couple of free hours in the sun. Emma wasn't to hip on the water. So our hopes of having a Olympic swimmer went down the drain. Pardon the pun... She did eventually like walking in the wading pool and put up a fuss when it was time to go home. Here's to next Saturday!!!

Looks fun........The pool has a beautiful setting. She will start loving it and you will spend the summer there. You lived at the pool, remember? Wish we had been there.
