our california vacation

We had so much fun on vacation!!! The kids played on the beach...they played together and Isaac had plenty of nap time. We spent a day on the Military Air Craft Carrier the Midway...that was so amazing. We went to the beach 4 of the 6 days, and had our share of ocean water and sand. Our hotel was just across the street from the beach. We had breakfast on the pier one morning and on the way back to land there was a huge pelican sitting on the edge of the rail it was great!! We bought wet suits and "booger boards" as Isaac calls them and rode the waves... It was a blast. We had our share of In-n-Out burger in fact on our way home, we stopped in Barstow so Lauren could go to the bathroom and Isaac had been asleep, until we stopped and Isaac wondered where Lauren and Steve had gone, so I told him that Daddy had taken her in to the building to go potty and he said 'Are they at the Up-and-Down Burger?' I said promptly you mean the In-n-Out Burger???? He laughed at himself and it was the joke all the way home. In fact since we've been home he has asked several times to go In-n-Out Burger for lunch. So that was a hit. Anyway, we had a great time. We definitely look forward to going to California again.
